The Moxie, created by Brian Wampler, is a compact pedal that puts a unique twist on the vintage 'screamer style' circuit. The Ibanez Tube Screamer, which was first introduced in the late 1970s, is widely recognized as one of the most emulated circuit designs in history and has been boosting amplifiers for decades. While there are many companies that produce 808/TS9 style pedals, Brian has always had a special fondness for the TS10.

The Moxie pedal offers incredible versatility, ranging from a gentle boost to a gritty drive that can push an amplifier into heavily overdriven tones. It has a warm and rich tone, with an added bite that sets it apart. Besides the standard controls, Brian has included two unique switches. The Voice switch enhances clarity by completely altering the EQ associated with this design, producing a more transparent-yet-robust tone. The Fat switch adds an extra level of gain by utilizing a custom MOSFET clipping stage, similar to that of a high-end boutique amp.
